We are a group of Muslims who have elected to meet
together for Jumaah (Friday) prayer in our own space in order to practice the right of women and men to
participate equally in the practice and expression of religious faith in
community with others. We conduct prayer, and take turns writing khutbahs (sermons). We are inspired to share the insight this
project has given us with others who may find themselves, for whatever reasons,
unable to find spiritual inspiration in traditional mosque settings.
